The Epidemic Upon Us

While we would enjoy considering the recent Coronavirus outbreak as something outside our sphere of normal life, the fact is that just a bit of extra vigilance and common sense hygiene may help us survive what the WHO announced today is a pandemic.

We do want to honor the fact that even as we strive to experience the perfection of health and vitality as Divine offspring, our mortal world needs our attention. Anytime a fellow human succumbs to this illness — or any tragic event — we all feel the pain as their Holy Sibling.

To respect those of you who may be feeling ill or simply want to be extra cautious, we ask that you stay at home this Sunday instead of attending the service. We will have a service this Sunday, and re-evaluate whether or not to have one at ULT on March 22nd. If future Services are not held in our wonderful building, we will hold them ONLINE so everyone can comfortably attend.

For this Sunday, as every Sunday, you may join the service LIVE on Facebook. Simply go to our Facebook page now and “Like” our page: https://www.facebook.com/UnityLakeTravis/. You will then be alerted when we are going live. The Sunday service will also be available for viewing afterward on Facebook and YouTube.

This Sunday, we will also have a special prayer for those affected by this outbreak.
